Carry handles

These aluminium handles are normally fitted to K2 models only. They are particularly useful in events that have long portages. Many senior paddlers carry their K2’s from the cockpit but many paddlers find it easier to use handles at bow and stern particularly for events such as the Waterside Series and the Devises Westminster Race. The handles have a dual role in this instance being ideal for carrying the boat ‘suitcase style’. For the longer run, when the boat is carried upside down on the shoulders to empty the water, they offer a control to keep the boat in position on the shoulder.
