Sometimes referred to as a sweetie hatch, this small really handy for small items that you need ready access to while on the water. Depending on the model this will be typically be a 15cm KS rubber hatch, but may also be a low-profile 10cm screw hatch a 10cm KS rubber hatch cover. In every case we will bond a light-weight moulded box under the deck, so bear this in mind if you feel you need extra space under the deck.
Some models have a bungee over the hatch which in itself is another a useful quick storage option.
With the original Inuk, the under-deck box doubles as a knee tube and may be padded out so it can be gripped with the thighs for extra control over the boat
