Similar to storage compartments you’d find between bulkheads, but better. Each compartment is fully lined with a structural pod that has a gloss finish to match the outside of the boat. These pods act as bulkheads to strengthen the hull and are individually pressure tested for leaks, before being drilled with a 2mm air equalisation hole.
This meticulous process essentially forms three separate flotation areas inside the hull (the two pods and the hull itself) bringing an extra level of safety and redundancy, should the worst ever happen. With two pods the weight can be distributed as needed, to aid trim and provide control of the craft when it gets bumpy.
