An efficient integrated foil design that combines a fixed fin and articulated rudder flap into a single wing-like structure. Turning the rudder wheel adjusts the trailing flap to generate the nessisary lift for steering, with minimal drag. It delivers excellent tracking, thanks the the fin, and surprisgly responsive turning, making it suitible for sprint and marathon paddling. It is also a great complement to the Fortis K1 and paddlers with limited mobility, as there is less need to rigidly lock off the tiller bar.
The complete Fortis assembly includes a bonded plastic mounting block, a removable rudder well and gaskets top and bottom.
